Weekend Box Office Results 10/15/12

There were 5 new films opening in wide release this past weekend which made for a very crowded box office weekend.   Despite fantastic critical praise and excellent word of mouth buzz, the Ben Affleck helmed Argo couldn’t overtake Liam Neeson’s Taken 2 for the top spot.

The Summit/Lionsgate scarefest Sinister overpreformed, while Kevin James’ starring MMA vehicle, Here Comes the Boom failed to connect with audiences.  Check below for the full weekend rundown.
